Will Work for Recovery is a 501 (C3) Nonprofit Recovery Community Organization Charitable Organization. Our mission is to restore hope and encourage individuals in recovery from substance abuse disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders one step at a time, one day at a time, one life at a time. recovery. We serve the North Minneapolis recovery community and surrounding cities. All of our services and activities are peer-led and peer-driven.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to secure a 5,000 – 7,000 sq. ft. facility so we can provide the services and activities that are necessary for individuals suffering from substance abuse disorders to rebuild their lives.

OUR PROGRAMS
We offers a peer-led and peer-run community-orientated program that focuses on providing evidence-based recovery support services. We provide a range of one-on-one and group-centered services critical to helping individuals find and sustain long-term recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Will Work for Recovery provides education, mentoring and advocacy programs to support those who desire to transform and rebuild their lives and relationships. We also offer peer recovery coaching, goal setting, spirituality and peer-to-peer support .
OUR BELIEF

Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be re-established that will give men and women the commitment to follow through on a path to productivity in society, creating pride and accomplishment in life. Will Work for Recovery® has become an invaluable resource to many in the recovery community by providing mentors, building confidence for those in recovery, reducing recidivism and benefiting the community at large.

In General Will Work for Recovery’s primary objective is to provide a positive and structured community environment by instilling and restoring hope for men and women in recovery using a variety of positive activities.Will Work for Recovery is a direct response to the difficulty in lifestyle changes and habits created by substance abuse disorder. Primary focus will be on men and women 18 years of age and older.

Research and studies have proven long-term recovery is built and established through a community of people in recovery mentoring each other to inspire and encourage each other to become productive members of society.

ARCO MEMBERSHIP
​
WWFR is a Member of Faces & Voices Association of Recovery Community Organizations (ARCO). ARCO unites and supports the growing network of local, regional and statewide recovery community organizations (RCOs).
ARCO links RCOs and their leaders with local and national allies and provides training and technical assistance to groups.ARCO helps build the unified voice of the organized recovery community and fulfill our commitment to supporting the development of new groups and strengthening existing ones.
