OUR PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT SERVICES

Will Work for Recovery believes the core to a successful recovery is having reliable one-on-one support. For some, this means assistance entering or re-entering detox, securing a waiver from the Department of Human Services to maintain employment, or simply needing a welcoming place to spend time and engage with peers in a respectful and supportive community.
When individuals sign up, staff provide daily one-on-one check-ins and set realistic daily goals, such as getting dressed for the day or making it to a recovery meeting. These intermediate building blocks lead to individuals working towards and accomplishing larger building blocks and setting and meeting life goals, such as:

-
obtaining a driver’s license,
-
securing affordable housing,
-
becoming employed at a workplace that values them,
-
gaining custody back of children,
-
and establishing secure and functional relationships with peers and family.
